Shawn Eiferman has been performing and writing music for almost 20 years, but has spent his whole life surrounded by entertainment. His mother was a world-famous opera singer and his father was a pioneer of body building(former Mr. America/Mr. Universe), who later did shows with Mae West and Debbie Reynolds, and made television and film appearances for more than thirty years.

Shawn began playing guitar at the early age of nine growing up in Bellingham, Washington, before his family relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada where he currently resides and performs regularly as the house entertainment at both the House of Blues Las Vegas, and
the Guitar Bar at Addison's inside the Rampart Casino in Summerlin. Shortly after moving to Las Vegas, he jumped into the local scene with both feet, playing solo gigs for seven years and earning UNLVís ìCollege Entertainer of the Yearî award two years in a row. In 1994, he won a Battle of the Bands competition by himself against eleven full-piece bands!

Shawn founded and fronted an acoustic modern rock band, Epsteinís Mother, for the last six years. He decided to continue his work as a solo artist after the bandís break up in September 2001
